Our hired webdesign company assured us that they could finish the JOB PORTAL site in just 10-day.
Here are what happened:
1st day - they send us image file report.
2nd day - Send us image file report again.

on the 3rd day, we asked them to stop the project because we are not happy with the design and the report they provide. I believed if we continue working with them it will end up to nothing. I know a lot of Web Designers who do fantastic Jobs and i dont see in their criteria. Job Portal is a very critical site, i dont think 10days is enough to finish it.
We asked them to refund our money and get the $100 bucks out of $400. We give them until January 23, 2012 to return the money and they insisted not to return because of the contract that my partner signed. I will attached the contract in my next post.

Total cost of the project is $1,400 and i gave them $400 upfront payment because i trust them at first.
My questions is. What is the purpose of the of Contract if the Client is no longer Happy with their Work. Still i will pay them $100 for 2days of work, what i want is to refund the remaining $300.

Ok, so you, the business owner, wanted a website, and went with provab, who agreed to build your website in 10 days for $1400, $400 of which was an upfront payment, agreed to, and signed by you, or your representitive. Provab were given 2 days by you on the project, before you decided, because of what appears to be cold feet, and lack of satisfaction with the design presented, decided to cease the project. Therefore somehow you have decided that what was provided to you only amounts to $100 value, and want your $300 dollars back.
From what you have provided i dont believe they have breached their contract, and therefore are entitled to the agreed upon and signed downpayment amount of $400.
Mind you, let this be a lesson “you get what you pay for“

I have no intention to ceased the contract because i thought they are capable to do Professional Job Portal site.
Before my partner signed a contract we asked them to send reports and updates.
For 2 days, they always send us image file as daily report http://www.provabtechnosoft.com/ASM/filipinos/
without giving us the login info or anything. In the 3rd day, i insisted to send me login. It took 6hrs to send me the login details and everything is scratched when i saw it. They said that there are 2 people working (9hrs a day) on the project 1 programmer and 1 web designer. How come? why they cant send me html design of report, Why send me image file report for 2 days.
We lost confidence of working with them. There are feedback gave to them but still design is not Good.

Sdesign1, I am not walking away with them. I lost $400 without getting anything from them. I asked them that i will pay $100 for 2days of work and return my $300. They told me to return it on monday but they changed their mind and lately they need to seek Lawyer advice.
Regarding to Contract. Different countries have different intellectual property laws. there are no standard legal rules and regulations to follow. If Provab acts more on Legal Matter about the contract they should send me a copy contract notarized by a Lawyer. The contract is Informal and Immature.
As the Owner, i am more particular in the design of my website and reporting.

All crappy design wherein the images are pixelated. I respect how they get their job done within 10 days but i really dont like the design. If they cant do simple things how they can finish a complicated task in site coding.
I asked Provab privately to return my investment but until now they remain silent.
Please help to return my money.
