Sorry, i dont know if my question/thread would be relevant to web design, but this is the situation :

-My website needs to be corporate
-Needs to have normal member/admin login with different access rights etc
-forms for users to fill up during registration (with information such as addresses)
-a 'control panel' for the users' profile and the functionality of attaching a document to their profile

Currently i am only finished with the layout and navigation on dreamweaver,
what other tools do i need to see the completion of the website??

Please help, thanks in advance!!!

Please don't double post like that. It had only been two minutes so have some patience. Plus it sounds like you want someone to create the site for you which no one here will do.

Your post doesn't have to be at the top for people to find it trust me. Quite often posts that are five years old get resurfaced.

sorry for double posting, and i am not trying to get someone to create the site for me! I guess this forum works differently from others since you've said even 5 yo posts resurface :)

will take note!

you'll need a cms to do what you are after (although you can code all that yourself if you are super keen)
this site below
http://cmsmatrix.org/
is good for determining what cms is right for you.

it wont matter that your design is done in DW.
but depending on the CMS you'll probably have to learn some PHP to modify it and add your template to it.
A CMS can be something very simple or very comprehensive...but usually it would be more than just a database manager.

first look into Wordpress as it is almost the same as CMS and it is vastly easier to maintain content and updates, if you need more then Joomla would be at top of list, all these platforms have thousands of plugins that will allow as complex a web site as you please, as far as layout is concerned, you can probably use what you've got with modifications so it will run under a specific platform. remember that CMS was meant to integrate a lot of powerful features at little cost in sweat and monies, but you need to be flexible with what you want

CMS takes care of both front end (visual & access) and back end (content maintenance & feature update)

without ANY details as to what your web site is suppose to do, you shouldn't expect much more help anywhere
