Drop-down....?

I've been researching all day on how to add a certain element to a website (I'm using wordpress.org), BUT I'm not sure on the actual term of the element..

It's basically the drop down tab near the top by the search button on THIS website:

I've searched terms like "drop-down panel", menu, box, table, etc.. and I haven't found anything of use..

Can anyone enlighten me on the actual term, and MAYBE on how to go about creating something like this?

I thought it might be prudent to point out that the pages are displaying the HTML/PHP sources rather than parsing the code properly, so all your sensitive information such as database passwords are easily accessible right now...
