Which domain name extension do you prefer to have and why?

.com for all the obvious reasons.

.com all the way, though I do have quite a few domains with decent keywords such as .net .org etc which make money, so yes i have no hesitation using non .com domains providing they contain good keywords, where the .com would be impossible to own.

I also prefer to have .com extention but I use hosting with .biz extention (ahosting.biz) and I like them very much.

.com is the prevalent and most popular one. Given a chance i can use .biz .net too.

.tv in my opinion is a joke, I dont like that they can charge whatever they like for the initial registration and domain renewals. I would never register a .tv on a matter of principal.

If you doing the business worldwide and concentrate on couple of sectors means, .com would be strongly recommended. If your business concentrating on particular country then you may go with extensions like .uk, .in ,etc., regarding to the country which you're targeting...
