Do spammers have a sense of comical irony?

Aye, I wonder about it often. Especially if it's a thread discussing blocking people or techniques to better weed out bots.

On the spammer's front I've had a request from a client to block visits to her website from a certain part of the world in order to block manual spam on contact form. This we did. She then asked if we could block visits from people from that country whether they are in it or not! Without elaborating on the moral and technical hurdles we would need to overcome we just said 'No, we can't do that.'

ESPECIALLY when when presenting work for approval and their reply starts with;

"Oh did I not tell you that ......."

Out of scope feature creep. The biggest tool in the clients toolkit. If done correctly then can screw the des/dev over completely. That's why now I will not start a job without a thorough (and signed off) sow.

Or am I confusing that with your 'Neighbours' in the islands of the flightless furry 'bird'?
