Content Background Idea?

I kind of messed up by making the pages gradient, but I need some idea for what I can do with the content? I would rather kind of have a white background for it or something. Anyway to incorporate that and still make it look nice?

I disagree.
there are far more eloquent ways of doing that.

bgcolor on body is deprecated and is not supported in HTML 4.01 Strict / XHTML 1.0 Strict.

and without the # it wont work on compliant browsers.

and since when is M$ IE a preferred browser? not since 1998!
