Comments Section: What am I looking for? (total novice question)

Hi,

I'm a total know-nothing novice, so thanks for taking the time to read this and I apologize for whatever foolishness I might say:

My friends and I run a very small newsletter/magazine that we publish weekly.

We wanted to tranistion this to a website. I can put together a very basic Frontpage site to dump in the weekly text/images of the magazine.

But what i'd really want is this:

Each article to have a "comments section" - similar to a blog

How do I implement an interactive "comments section" for each article? Is this really just a blog? Or is it something simpler?

If i didn't make it obvious, basically the look we're going for is similar to this publication: http://www.weeklydig.com

Thank you for your help!!

I would recommend installing wordpress and then just template it. Dont try to re-invent the wheel, what your doing has got basic blog written all over it and wordpress is a very robust solution.

Good Luck!

i agree with the rest. I would use wordpress, joomla (if you have multiple users and lots of content in the future), or kubeblog (if you need something smaller)

otherwise you'll have to use a php script that is ugly, and you'll use alot more time than is needed getting it to work.

go with a cms and you'll be happier.
