Hi all...noob here 
Im relatively new to web design...started off as more of a hobby but I've almost completed a website for a small engineering company and designed a new logo.
I've only ever designed two other website and that was for my father's company and my own personal site. Anyway, I have no idea what to charge the company that I am designing the website for. I've already designed the logo and they are very happy with it. They have told me to record my hours but we've not discussed payment per hour.
What is the going rate for designing a web site and logo? (fairly basic site but functional and looks professional) - All done in html and css with some javascript slideshows etc.
Additional info...I live and work in Northern California. I'm a qualified engineer and Im completing a Masters in Industrial Arts (where I took web design classes)
Any advice/help appreciated!
