Why isnt this working (Collapsible Panel + Tabbed Panel + Quicklfip)

I would be easier for us all if you posted the js associated with this and possibly the page markup

    fixed menu bar

Bare in mind, the div element is a block element. Meaning it will span the width of its parent by default when its position is "static" or "relative" and adjust for any padding, margins or borders you apply (without having a width value declared). It is only when you change the position to...

    Multiple Columns on Menu

Simple enough. How many columns? Also, you should look into other float clearing methods (i.e. clearfix). Using the empty div element after a floated item is not the best practice IMO. I prefer to use the :after pseudo class on the parent element to the floated items. Cleaner option...

html columns whose width automatically changes according to their content

Your welcome, but wouldn't you rather have a consistent appearance to your site? Continually changing column widths seems odd to me

html columns whose width automatically changes according to their content

Exactly! OP: The problem with your table solution is, like Chris stated, if you have a paragraph large enough it will crush the other two cells to a state that is barely readable. Meaning, you need to set width on the cells to limit this. Hence, back to my example.

html columns whose width automatically changes according to their content

He did mention he was having three columns with paragraphs in each. I assumed this was a layout for the main content of his page. If that is the case, my point stands. If not, then I stand corrected. Tables should not, in fact never, be used as a main structural basis for a website's content...

html columns whose width automatically changes according to their content

First off, don't use a table. That is not the intended purpose of that HTML element. Resorting to it because you dont have a solution is a cop-out and this exact thinking is what leads to poor markup. Even Width Setting even width is simple, use percentage based values for your column widths...

    critique my logo design?

Too many font sizes and weights! It lacks flow, continuity. It gives me the impression you (the company) is indecisive or has ADD. No offense. In terms of fonts, please use something more unique. Helvetica is a great font, don't get me wrong, but it is simple and plain. It's better suited for...

problem with overflow on the footers need help urgent

We will need the css information to properly help you with this issue. A live url couldn't hurt either. Off the top of my head, are you floating any of the elements in the footer? If so you will need to clear the floats. Try setting the overflow property of the footer to hidden. #footer {...

Moving things in a page - positioning

Phil if you are going to fix the width of your site, which it looks like you are, there really is no need to use percentage based values for the width of the columns. I know, I wrote them in there in my example, but if you change them to a pixel value that will eliminate the stacking problem...

Moving things in a page - positioning

Eh...you can do this, but know that you dont have to. Odd, I have not found this to be a problem. Fixed layouts, it is very simple...I could perhaps see an issue with fluid layout however being that we are using percentages and not fixed values.

Can I please have some reviews for these logo designs.

I never got into Fireworks and the now deprecated Freehand, maybe because they were very similar to Ps and Ai, and that they were originally Macromedia products. That being said, i believe that is also the case Dw but I use that quite often. Eh personal preference I guess. Donations, lol I...

Moving things in a page - positioning

Yeah keep the division elements to a min. Use only what you need. Here is a quick example of a fixed layout: Fixed Layout (This keeps the most important info first, ensuring semantic flow to the document)

That is not a reason to change which item is floated first, but rather an adjustment to the width values.

Can I please have some reviews for these logo designs.

When developing logos, I use Illustrator. The logo needs to be in a vector format, making it suitable for all mediums. Overpriced? Debatable. Head of the market, definitely, hence the higher price. In many cases, designers/developers use Adobe products because they are well built, mostly bug...
