I do not agree with that. If anything they won't sign up as they don't want to be annoyed by advertising monthly newspaper. I've tried it before, it doesn't work.

I do not like freelancing right now as much is outsources and I can't compete with those prices which are thousands cheaper than my prices.

It really depends on your Google PageRank, as that determines to them how important your website is and how often it gets crawled. For a normal website I would say at least 2 weeks.

Don't forget to include that you should keep optimization in mind when creating a design, as the design must be created a certain way in order to list well in the search engines.

P.S. the companies I worked with spent over $1,500 a day on campaigns.

Everyone has their own opinion on Adwords. My opinion is it is not worth it. From studies it shows only 20% of people will click on ads in Google and 80% of people click on organic searches (the free stuff that you get listed for on Google). You just need to improve your organic optimization...

Kremo5le, I like the website a lot. That is a talented and very professional/modern website design and layout. My company does everything, basically making it a "one stop shop" for the client. I do website design, seo, computer repair, etc. Some clients like this as then they get it all done...

SEO for me starts with the website design itself. I like making the website design myself that way I know it is made right with right structure, coding, etc. Then I do all the other stuff, content keyword enriching, h1 - h2 - h3 headers, link building, meta tags, search engine submission...

I would charge for the design $1,500 and for the SEO promotion $2,500 plus $250 a month maintenance.

Why not do both? Offer a company services company, that way you can do both and when one part of the business is slow, the other part will help you out.
