    Need web design studio

I am in no way affiliated with this company (wink, wink), but I would recommend Spider Web Technologies.

    Review: MyCampusBars.com

Now that the site is functional again (has been for a couple days now), what do y'all think?

    New Web Design Wiki

I guess it's a good feature because it provides a lot of keyword content to your website, but it is probably needless as far as users are concerned. Wikipedia already has all of this stuff covered.

    Web Design and the brain

Well if you're looking for a good brain exercise, then creating a well-rounded website by yourself would be perfect. If you do the designing yourself and the coding yourself then you have no choice but to use both circular and linear logic. There aren't many people that can do this...

    What would this cost?

My company would charge about $10,000 - more or less depending on further details.

Is it legal to display movie poster images on a site?

My guess is that it is legal for the video store to display the artwork because they own the video and are merely trying to promote it. Once clips start getting shown then you should start worrying. I'm no lawyer though.

    Content Management

Try Drupal, Joomla, or Mambo... listed in order of my preference. There is plenty of support online for each of these systems, and there should be a fair amount of tutorials as well.

    Using Images On Web Sites

Google indexes images just like it indexes web pages. As such, it is not okay to assume an image returned by a Google search is royalty free.

can anyone suggest me a good cms for a cheat code site??

Drupal, Joomla, and Mambo are all very well suported. I'd go for one of those. Drupal is my personal favorite.

    Next Trend in Web Design

I think the next trend is going to be completely computer-generated, awful looking code.

    Web Design and the brain

This is why most companies have a linear-thinking developer and a circular-thinking designer. Then your problem is not an issue.

    Review: MyCampusBars.com

Haha, oops. No it's not spam. I accidentally copied the index.php file from spiderwebtechnologies.com to mycampusbars.com. Hence the unrelated content and lack of design. I'll be fixing it shortly.

    My Band's Website

I like the font you used for the header, but I dislike everything else... no offense. Here are my main problems with the site: -It is too wide for my screen, which is 1024px wide. -The menu is VERY bland. Even a simple tabular menu would be a nice upgrade. -The text on the page doesn't mesh...

    fair price on website?

It all depends on what you want to go on those three pages. Many designers charge a minimum fee upwards of $1,000. Add to that any flash that is being made, and special logos that are created, etc. Plus, the dynamic content that has to be accounted for as well as the file uploading and...

    Review: MyCampusBars.com

I just finished making this site, http://www.mycampusbars.com, about a week ago. I personally thought it was pretty cool, but I'm beginning to second guess myself after the lack of traffic. It is a site where bar owners can go on and list their bar along with the specials they are offering...

To Flash or not to Flash?

Does he want his sites to be listed high in search engines? If he does, don't do an all flash site. Like jnjc said, make sure you ask him why he wants a flash site. He may just be saying this because he saw a cool flash website one time. There are a lot of ways to spice up a site with...

    web design help

Go to your local bookstore and buy a good book on (X)HTML and CSS. Master these two skills, then start worrying about more advanced things such as php, JavaScript, graphic design, etc. Also, if you can afford it, consider investing in a WYSIWYG editor such as Dreamweaver or Microsoft...
