    Help! Please!

Slide show While not exactly a slide show, this is what I'm looking for. Notice how fast it and the BG music loads. http://www.mountaintopga.com/ Any idea of what was used to make it?

Is it possible to embed a streaming rip (music) in a web page?

    Slide show

Just a note; I gave up on putting a slide show using PowerPoint because it loads too slow for my taste and patience, or lack thereof. The photography club, however, plans on using it for public display purposes. Loading there won't be a problem. So, a business oriented web page proved...

Pics In A Poke I don't intend to sound like an arrogrant or spoiled control freak, but, like National Geographic did with their recent slide show, I want viewers to see what I want them to see. Besides, on PowerPoint, the viewer is given the option of pausing on a pic, go back or move on to...

    Slide show

In the final.... I'm not clear of the difference between a photo gallery and slide show. In the final version of the club's web page, there will be a (teaser) slide show that is secondary to the other content including links to member's home pages, which will display their pictures...

    PowerPoint

Anybody, please somebody, tell me how to save a presentation so that when I upload the dog-gone thing to the site, the "Outline" doesn't come along on the left side, spliting the screen. All I'm hoping for is for someone to click on the site, and get the slide show of pics I've prepared...

    Slide show

I've pretty well gotten the hang of FrontPage and PowerPoint and/but would like the site to automatically display a better slide show of the photographs. It will be a shared thing inasmuch as the members of the photo club we're forming will all more or less use the same format - which means it...

    Help! Please!

A friend who is a photographer has a web site where she shows her work. The problem is people keep clicking on the pictures to see a larger version, then download them and use it without permission. How can someone stop a viewer from downloading a picture on a site?

    Copy to print

A good friend, a wild-life photographer, has first class pictures on her site which are being downloaded and probably copied way too often, and on more than one occassion used without her permission. She's good, her pictures are great, but isn't there some way she can keep them from being copied?

Anyone Just have One of Those Clients?

If you had one to pick.... ... what one program would you pick to work on photographs and occassionally maybe a banner; to do the artsy-craftsy stuff. I use Photoshop Elements in my work as a reporter and I have an unopened older copy of PhotoShop, which I could upgrade, if that's the pick -...

    Boom!

I looked at the prices; ouch! For a one-time use, well, I'd better leave well enough alone. But, the next time someone complains about the high cost of having a web page designed, rest assured, I'll bring up the price of programs necessary to make it happen. So some good will eventually come...

    Boom!

For no particular reason, other than pure idiocy and the want of more action on the site, I'd like to have a tiny meteor first appear as a believable, faint trace of light from the upper left corner, growing somewhat bigger and more discernible as it travels quickly toward the bottom right, and...

    Fansite Network. Please Rate.

Your site Looks good to me, once I realized what it's about; a good cross-over between business and entertainment, something that many try, but because they are two different worlds, very few accomplish. Congratulations.

    my website...for a contest

And... Nice, on a subject that interest me. However, check your grammar and spelling. In one place you said, "her" but I think you meant "here." And "bye." Move it down to the next paragraph where you do go "bye" with the text :)

Drat I thought at first it was about food and cooking and all that good stuff. Oh well. Excellent photography, however. Very good.

Tks You're right. Will do (as soon as I figure out how). Thanks for the input.

    Finally Ready, I think....

I rebuilt the site on FrontPage using Tables, so the text formatting would stay the same, and finally got the BG to hold still. What a struggle! Can/will anybody point out something that I might be able to do to improve it before it goes on the "Big Board?" Right now it's just a home page...

    My site

Flash You have about four to five seconds to catch my attention and telling me I have to download a flash player before I can look at the site ain't the way to spend it. I know, I know, flash is the "in" thing with web designers, but it isn't with this consumer. I'm in too big of a hurry.

    Background picture

Nope! I just tried taking it from MovieMagic and pasting it into a Word document - no dice! No formatting. What I might be asking about is 1. how do you ZIP a file and 2. can it be pasted directly into a Word document without losing any of the formatting.
