Hahaha! Nice one. They are already in version X6 in case you don't know. I think the proprietary format that they with CorelDraw is still the biggest issue since it limits compatibility with other programs.

yeah, i would agree. i am still not quite sure as to how his site is supposed to go, but he can still give it a positive spin. say, the You're On Your Own message can emphasize the degree of freedom that users can have when in the site (that is if it is one of the thrusts that he want to follow).

They are right. This isn't as much of a logo than it is a letterhead. But if you still want to make a logo out of the elements that you have here, then you can do so by building them around a central image (like the check mark maybe).
