    Asbestos Training Website

Overall design is good, although I am not too keen on the menu. Both colours and design, I think it needs to be made sleeker.

    What do you think

I agree with the above that it is ok for a blog, but the title of your blog does not stand out enough. It would be nice to see an eye-catching logo.

    what about this design ?

Way to much white space on your site. It is hard to know where to focus!

    Site review

I agree with the comments above, it does seem a bit blocky and bland. It is not easy when you are a beginner, but I am sure the site will evolve into something that looks great.

    Recommendations for business directory services

I have used PHP Link Directory in the past and have found it to be quite good. The admin allows you/the customer to fully customise the setting etc. Although the templating could be better.

My new site - looking to improve it!

It all seems a bit bland to me. I like the layout, but the icons and boxes don't stand out enough and just seem dull.

    Dagens Muffins!

Design wise, I like the idea. But the execution is not very good at all! There is too much going on and you can't even read the text properly as you have the muffins animating underneath. Also as mentioned above the coding is awful.

    Web Design : Beginners

When I first started out, I used Dreamweaver to get the basics. It is very handy for teaching you the basics of HTML & CSS because you can create elements and style them without actually writing the code. Once I got the basics, I then moved on to writing the code myself and Googleing (Stack...

    Please review LunarCloud

I like it! It looks clean and professional, one thing I would say though, the block of text on the homepage could do with breaking down a bit, maybe with some icons?

    Ranking a domain that has a 301

OK, I now understand that I cannot target keywords for a redirected domain. But you cannot say I am wrong about the redirected domain ranking if you search the actual domain name in Google. I have several cases of this happening.

    Ranking a domain that has a 301

The domain ranks in Google if you search for the actual domain. Surly the same would apply if I targeted the required keywords?

Why/How did YOU start Web Design?

My step dad taught me some html & Javascript when I was 10, I then came back to it 9 years later as I needed to do design some pages on my company's intranet. 4 years later I am now working for myself designing and developing a whole range of different sites... I would not swap this job for...

    Hey there,

Lol, Netscape. It will be because the image path does not exist. For example, your image code will look something like this: <img src="/path/to/image.jpg" width="200" height="200" alt="" /> Notice the src, this is the URl of the image. image.jpg should be within a directory called "to"...

    Which platform to use?

I would really recommend using Wordpress as a CMS, although it is a blogging platform it can do far more than that! I am a professional web designer and I use it for most of my clients. It is easy to develop for and easy for them to update content on. If you are having spam problems, you...
