    critique my logo design?

Keep us posted on the progress, Discovermypath! Sometimes to help me get ideas flowing I take a sketchbook and go for a walk in the woods. I’m able to clear my head, remove any distractions, and the woods are inspiring to me.

    Review My Logo

I would experiment with leaf designs. Sometimes it’s helpful to step away from the computer and take a walk to brainstorm. If you have a foresty park nearby maybe you can find some leaves that get your creative juices flowing. Also I agree with Leroy30, if you gave us some more designs we can...

    Feedback on Message

I have to agree with everyone else on this one. You’re On Your Own does sound horribly negative and just hearing it brought back unhappy memories of my mother when disappointed in me throwing her arms in the air going “Well then, guess you’re on your own”.

    CorelDraw or Illustrator?

I would have to say it depends on what you are doing. If you are creating designs and logos I would go with Illustrator since it works better with vectors. That being said I am a huge Corel Draw fan, but that is when I actually have my tablet out and I am actually using it to create artwork.

In the end it's all up to your judgment, really. Since you don't mind doing either one, no one can really stop you from trying out either. You just have to weigh things carefully.

Graphic Design Tutorials (Flyers, Logos, Web Elements, and more)

The tutorials will be of great help to newbies. I understand that at first, Photoshop seems to be a complicated app with a set of strange features. So what beginners really need is a simple yet comprehensive tutorial.

    Illustrator printing at wrong size

That's a weird problem. I would think that since you are using a vector-based program that you wouldn't have problems with resizing. Perhaps the problem is something different entirely?

    Critique my logo please

Make the text stand out a bit more. It's going to be a bit tough for color blind people to read, otherwise. I like the redundancy of the coffee mug within the coffee mug. This logo is very good.
