Print or web - the simpler the design, the better. Have you thought about dropping the exterior areas and going with the branding on the coffee cup itself? It's such a nice pleasant looking cup.

The best logos I've seen tend to be the most simple - 2d, just a couple of branding colors. I like the Condor reference.
