include statements are definitely a HIGH SELLING POINT for php, most of my pages are constructed with things like if ($_GET['page'] == "about") include("./includes/about.php"); i would have to agree, very very useful

Go onto dafont.com theres thousands of fonts on there, and then put the font you like in here Cufon Fonts and it will turn it into a javascript file, so you can call it where ever you want. Really Really handy

if you dont want to pay for a program, search for notepad ++, its actually quite good. For your menu effects you will be learning javascript / jquery.

You could try having the form as a jquery onfocus event, where people have to actually CLICK the send button too, that has stopped ALL of my spam. If you would like to do that i can find a reference
