What social networking websites do you guys use? Are they for personal or marketing use? And who blogs? What's the benefits of blogging? Do these really reach potential clients, or are they just for the web design community? I don't really see clients reading about typography or website critiques.

That would be some sort of javascript that would really be hard to explain. If you want to learn more about html, css, javascript, and other languages for the web, visit w3schools.com. They have great tutorials there on a lot of programming and markup languages.

Everyone is giving me pretty vague answers. I've read a lot of articles on how to determine pricing, and telling me my rates should depend on the project doesn't really help me assess how much I should charge. Can anybody just give me a straight numeric answer on how much you think I should be...

How much do you think my work is worth based on the examples?

I'm not really sure if I can trust companies/clients though. I did the first time and I didn't get paid, so I always like to collect payment before I send deliverable. I feel like a check would take too much time to get to me and it would delay me sending over the finished project.

What do you guys use to send invoices/collect money from non-local clients? I've been using paypal but it takes a really big percentage out of my hard-earned money.
