SERP has always been a part of any SEO campaign. CTR is related to SERP, but it does not really affect ranking. I think it's more related to the number of impressions by keyphrase.
Have you tried this one - wordpressdating.com? It's a WP plug-in that offers free dating to site visitors, or charge a membship fee, easy integration with PayPal IPN, etc. However, it's not free.

It's totally fine, but I suggest you limit your Digg submissions/bookmarks. You can get banned from Digg. The site is so strict these days and only accepts quality backlinks.
I think it's just okay. You just have to make sure you use a permanent 301 redirect. That way, the link juice will be passed. Take note, however, that it may take some time for Google to reindex the site.
Pagerank is way too overrated and I don't really believe in it. I've seen many bad-looking sites with high PR, yet they don't even rank high in Google. Traffic and SERP are much more important.
Yes, primarily because "Content" is king in SEO. I think this adage is still true when it comes to optimization. Article submission is a good way to generate quality one-way links.
.co is fine. I don't see any issue with it. Domain extension has nothing to do with SEO. It doesn't matter whether you use .co or .com or any other extensions. Ranking is mostly based on the quality backlinks and contents.
