E-Commerce

Ihave a job to design a product page and mostlkeu it will involve a shopping cart or E-Comerce. I know nothing about E-Commerce. I was told in another forum not to try and learn it but to rent a template from the server I'm on that has E-Commerce in it. My question is should I tyry and go thru the Lynda.com tutorials "Building an Online Shoppng Cart" and "E-Commerce"? I'm a slow learner and the templates look like a good choice the prices are :

I suggest you check out 1FreeCart. This site offers free shopping cart software for your online ecommerce store including free hosted Paypal and Myspace shopping carts.

thats sounds expensive. I would recomend getting a professionally designed on from aa ecommerce website design company

Oh God... if you're not familiar with e-commerce, use a website template with e-commerce integrated... I'd stay away from godaddy or any other company's e-commerce offers... it's much cheaper and easier to buy a template that has a good shopping card programmed.
