Own blog or at blogspot or wordpress?

How effective for SEO to run blog at google's blogspot website and does it better then running blog with your own domain name? Or this is all about unique content only?

yesterday i saw a list of blogs with ranking more than 7 and most of that are Blogspot
i think it's about good content and effective seo not other things.

I think Blogger doesn't suit at all for business.
Lack of SEO, lake of professionalism.
Wordpress is munch better, good for SSEO, you have your own content, you have the power to do anything you want with it, add plugins, add professionnal design.

Wordpress is better when it comes to doing an SEO blog. It's more SEO-friendly. WP's privacy policy is also better than Blogspot.

You should use Wordpress. You can buy a domain name there. Or what I mean is pay to use a domain without the ".wordpress" on the domain.

Although I both manage blogs on Wordpress and Blogspot. I can say that Wordpress is better than the latter because wordpress make it is easy to update the site on a regular basis with new information. Each time the site is crawled by the search engine, new content is searched and the natural ranking of the site increases with very little effort.

I believe that if your are jut starting out with blogs it's better if you use wordpress or blogspot simply because it is easier to navigate. But if you are an expert already go for your own blog. I think it is better for SEO purposes.

If you wanna give your blog at leas a tiny bit of professional touch, you will need your domain, and wordpress blog.
blogger is ok, but he needs that final touch that wordpress has to offer.
