I am looking to develop a medical information website. I have extensive medical background so I am confident about the content portion.
I would like the site to have:
Basic informative pages
Medical calculators
Retail portion to sell medical apps, books
I am starting at the novice level in web design. I managed my med school website 10 yrs ago and did basic HTML, but that is my only experience.
Looking for a point in the general direction of how to get started. I have a recommendation from a medical colleague for a host, but wondering if there are recommended tutorial sites, books etc on how to start. I appreciate this is a big project and want to do it right.
