Has anybody had any good experiences of using an specialist SEO company to improve their performance on search engines?

Can they really make a difference? What happens if they don't get you to the top of the search engines as they claim, do you get a refund?

as for your questions - if you can find an honest white hat seo specialist and are patient then it can be worth it. they can increase your page rank but they may suggest key terms for you that you were not anticipating. no seo can guarantee you a top search ranking - if they do, don't use them. and no usually you don't get a refund.

Guaranteeing rankings can be very difficult as, unless you own Google or Yahoo, achieving a desired result is somewhat up in the air, so to speak. The goal is to put forth your best effort and do all that can be done.
