Paint - Is there any help?

I know Paint is a rubbish program if your used to photoshop and all that, but I can't afford Photoshop. I can create simple sites with FrontPage and I know HTML and CSS. I really want to know how to create a banner and graphics on Paint to make my sites look attractive. I can do simple stuff but is there any good tuts or free good programs?

Don't waste your time with Paint... try the Gimp (a free image app), or Paint Shop Pro (not free, but much easier on the wallet than Photoshop).

[tab]'s right, most of us have a hard time pushing out the dough for photoshop, but there are always cheaper alternatives. I know there are some people on this forum who are just starting and would probably make you a banner for the credit, or a small fee. Even check eBay, they have Pro's that sell logos and banners regularly.
