mirror site.. one is #1 on Yahoo

We have dtwministries.com that gets a high rank on Yahoo. But we just got destinedtowin.org. Do we drop dtwmin .com or redirect to .org
if we keep both domains ill have 44 pages to look after in stead of 22 :rolleyes: We don't want to get blocked by any search engines

duplicate content is not usually a good idea. Best to just stick with the one site if possible.

What about a Domain Alias. I've recently setup www.projectpcs.com and I did not want to lose any visitors from www.pcextremeonline.com So I setup a domain alias with my new host and changed the dns for www.pcextremeonline.com to point to my new host with www.projectPCs.com. Once I got it setup both url's point to exactly the same html pages.

I could do what you said Kiwiberry. But iam not sure if we would lose our ranking on Yahoo

You might lose some small bit over time but you would also be building up rank on the new site... if that's the one you are choosing to be the main site... it should stay about even in the long run, although you might see some changes in the short run. If the sites are the same kind of content you'll be using the same routes to get inbound links, correct?

They are the same the only difference is the domain name. i gess ill go back to dmoz.org, zeal and the other directories and relist the new domail and take the old one off
