I am thinking of buying a website, www.ultraseek.us but how much would you say it is worth?

or how much are un established websites worth.

Uses a free script which is server intensive I would say, the domain is a .us so it is not worth all that much, the domain name that is. Does not have a pagerank, is listed on some blacklists. It does have an alexa rank which is not too bad though. I would say it is worth under $100

yeah, i'd agree that anything that's not a .com isn't that good...

Just do a search for "ultraseek.us" at google.com
In all fairness though, sometimes sites end up on those lists for no reason at all.

No, I just meant when you do a search for that at google, it shows a few results which are some sort of "blacklist"
Type ""ultraseek.us" in google.
You get results like
