get table edge to edge of browser page

i built a table based site, in dreamweaver. the whole page is various segments, because the menu was in segments.

but there is always a kind of border of blank space around my designe when i veiw it on a browser (IE, Mozz, OPera)

how do i get rid of the border so my design is all there is on the browser page?

Pull up your page(s) in Dreamweaver, select the table(s). At the bottom of your program window will be shown table properties, set everything to 0's that have to do with borders and spacing, and cellpadding if you don't want any of that either. If you leave those blank Dreamweaver adds some anyway by default.

Oh, yeah... If that doesn't work, make sure there hasn't been a spacer.gif inserted where it's not wanted.
