domain help

i seen a few of threads like this here but have a question if you wanna help...

i need a domain name and hosting... i would like to get both from the same company. want to pay under $10 a month. need 1 e-mail, at least 1-5 gb's and not alot of bandwith. dont care about much else... only use html, nothing fancy... any recommendations?

So I registerd w/ eMonsterHost and did it before registering my domain. So I did that second. I changed the server addys but nothing has happened? Help?

Well, now there is nothing, as if it is not even a registerd domain. But this maybe a good thing... now I gotta find out how to upload my index file.
