Okay guys, A question we often ask friends is how they get started coding or webmeistering each day. Many have routines that help get the creative juices flowing... what would yours' be?

Put together the ugliest, most unreadable code imaginable, then hack away at it until it works.

I spend hours surfing aimlessly on the net, not being very productive at all. :D

As to how I start the day, checking these forums, and of course, checking to see how much money I made overnight while I was sleeping, and answering emails, then going to work late, again......

it can be variety of things. movies, a web site, an idea, a conversation, or my boss kicking me in the ass to get moving. :D well, the latter doesn't happen anymore, but still, there really isn't just one thing that gets me going.
