internet radio: help to build!

HI EVERYONE i am rgedit.

I am new to this FORUM so hopefully i will get the help i have been looking for.

Anyway i need help to build a live, or recorded radio over the internet, actually live radio would be great.

so anyone with any ideas please help here and hopefully i can help with something in the future.

Icecast, not realtime though, which runs off your own server and live356 which is a paid service are two I've looked at.

What's your budget?

You will need a decent size budget for a live broadcast or even streaming server. It requires many resources and is hard on IIS or Apache and will use alot of bandwidth too. Please do let us know your budget.
