outlining text

how do i outline text? i have paint shop pro 8 and adobe photoshop.

here is an example of what i mean:

the writing at the bottom saying last july is the one i mean. i'd really appreciate if someone could tell me how to outline font like that

If you take a look through the tutorials, at good-tutorials.com in the text effect sections, you should find something to achieve that effect using photoshop.

The last post on this topic was in 2005...I decided to just look at my old threads...wow. I was a n00b!

But Good-Tutorials is ♥. I learnt most of what I know about Photoshop on that site. :)
