I have to choose between SMF and phpBB2 for my forum, which one you think it will be better and easier to administer and customize, and have better security more search engine freindly?

I think phpbb is the more well known and more popular of those options, it is also a fairly simple process for upgrading to vbulletin if your forum takes off and you decide to upgrade your software.
