Flash button in Dreamweaver issue

I have created a page with Dreamweaver, and on the page I created a Flash Button called "The People". Here is the page:

In Firefox the button works fine - click it once and it opens the page. But in IE, you click the button once and a box goes around the button, and then you have to click it again to open the page.

Does anyone know why it is doing this and how to fix it so you only have to click once? Thanks for any insight -

it looks great on mine. im on ie and i get none of that. although i dont see any flash involved there. am i missing something. it appears to me as just a button with no effects.
