DW Flash button in IE

I have created a page with Dreamweaver, and on the page I created a Flash Button called "The People". Here is the page:

In Firefox the button works fine - click it once and it opens the page. But in IE, you click the button once and a box goes around the button, and then you have to click it again to open the page.

Does anyone know why it is doing this? Thanks for any insight -
