Question Joomla Help

I am having trouble with deploying .SWF in Joomla. The wissywig editor has an insert media button. I click that, select Fla from the drop down menus.

I enter the required info such as URL and size dimensions.

It shows the .swf playing in the little window. I hit update and the little box with the flash logo is on the article. Great! But when I preview the site in real time, there is nothing there except a blank image? I need help. If anyone can help please.... it would mean so much.

David

P.S I am using the latest version of Joomla

Yes no problem, but I figured it out. It was an error in the joomla installation. I removed Joomla 1.5 completely and then reinstalled. Problem solved, the .swf deploys nicely.

But I do have a question for you orangecopper, I have a video swf playing now. However the play scrubber does not appear, it is in the same file folder as the swf and flv. Do you know about this.

are you writing the full file location in the script? instead of using / as the location. try using yoru full site name and file location.

I had that same problem. It drove me crazy. The easiest thing to do is download and install the AllVideos plugin.

It's ridiculously easy to use. You will just need to change its default settings to fit your needs.
