Post Web building course - Worth it?

Hi all,
I'm new to the field of Web design/building, and I'm thinking about taking a 6-month course that includes:
HTML + XHTML
Dreamweaver
CSS
JavaScript
DHTML
Flash + Action Script

I'm wondering if such a course would be worthwhile toward my goal of starting a career in this field (esp. in comparison to a more lengthy, university degree), and would greatly appreciate your feedback on the matter.

Thanks!

Looks like from the criteria it just focuses on the front-end development part. Maybe something with design would help unless you are planning on just doing development. I would also say that Flash won't be necessary at first since learning all of those at the same time would be difficult.
