Default What format do you prefer for web graphics?

What image format do you prefer to use when creating graphics for the web and why?

GIF
Use for moderate gradient-type graphics, transparent images, and and any flat color image that cannot be created through css.

File size is small.

PNG
Use for more intense gradients and images with layer effects (Ps). Great for icons if a GIF doesn't provide optimal quality. Can be used for photos.

File size is usually quite large.

JPG
Use for all types of photos, and for more intense graphics where PNG sile size is too large.

File size is comparable.
