i hope somebody knows more than me... for sure...

I want to realize a livebroadcast for sport-events -
the goal would be to have several streams live-broadcasted to change camera-perspective...
but for the beginning it would be most important to be able to be able to broadcast an event - one videostream in 2 qualities on a website.
talking about 10 day-events with something like 5-8 hours broadcast a day and userwise in the beginning probably just few hundered, but the goal would be to have a 10k-20k viewers or even more...

Flash mediaservers seem to be really limited in number of maximal connections -how are bigger projects realized ?? - what would be the best service to realize that in?
