Why does all sites in the review section look the same?

What's the deal? Does everyone who needs their site reviewed on here use the same programs to put their site together? They all look like those click through sites that you go to if you type in a wrong URL. Am I out of the loop and this is what is happening with the whole web 2.0 thing? Did creativity go out the window? How do you expect to get clients if nothing on your site sticks out? Has anyone taken a marketing class?
