I have been with IXwebhosting for 2 years now or maybe more.I am runing a big website www.rtgallery.com The database is huge as I hold a wide veriety of products. One day my website was down, and it turn out ixwebhosting have desided that my mysql is using to much resources(it is hot I have checked). My website was down for 3 days and they only put it up is that I told them I will fix the quereis. I started looking for a new web host after a couple of days downtime, I stumbled on www.bluespacetechnologies.com tried out their silver shared package, so far so good - they had zero complaints about my large mysql database Final line is, if you are planing on runing a large website or even a medium one stay away from ixwebhosting.com |

Hey Icko,
Sorry to hear about your troubles with IXwebhosting, 3 days downtime is never good for a business that relies on uptime to sell its products. That being said you do really get what you pay for these days, when you run a website that demands resources you should start looking at alternatives such as a virtual dedicated server or even a dedicated server to host your site. There are plenty of options out there! I'm curious, what was their reason for not bringing your site on line sooner?
