Dropdowns not working in IE.

The bane of my existence, once again, has halted my web design. Yes, I'm talking about Internet Explorer.

If you hover over "places", for example, you'll see a dropdown in Firefox. It's below the image. Now in Internet Explorer, you'll see that the dropdown actually goes out towards the right.

Now, I know with the collective genius, the fine members of this forum can help me solve this problem, while keeping it working in Firefox and Safari.
