'Put' NOT WORKING!!

Using DW MX 2004, I'm connected to my remote host and want to 'Put' my coming soon page up. I said file bytes were transfered but nothing happens. I tried it with and without including dependent files.....

My host put a parking page up. Should I find a way to remove that first?

I've had problems with the DW ftp myself... Not sure about why it's buggy, but I use Filezilla as an alternative which works perfectly and transfers much faster...

Yes, try to remove the parking page if nothing is happening. I had to do this once to get it working.

Also, make sure that if the hosting account has an option for parking, its disabled.

The parking page might be index.htm and you new page may be index.html so you do need to delete the one that you didn't upload.
