Artist Site: Opinions Please

Welcome to the web design world! I'm going to give you a few of my impressions. Take what you like and leave the rest.

I like the green and leaf motif. The "A" in Amy is a bit too light in weight compared with rest of the name. The white border at the top looks like it should go the whole width. The menu items could use a little padding on the right. Also, you might try left aligning them to align with the left margin of your right sidebar text. They're a little lost right now. The quote text in the home page image look a little blurry. You might try live html text or a different file format.

The frog/fairy image is large and the "Soprano Amy R Martin" image; they don't integrate very well. I'd get rid of the default image borders and check your right sidebar formatting. It looks like everything is formatted at bullets rather than reserving bullets only for your lists of links. Also, the subheads for each link section should have more vertical spacing before and less after.

Hi. I agree with everything Diana said.

On the writer site, I might consider using one of your greens or possibly the black for a background color instead of the dark gray. The block seems to float right now. I'm thinking the solid green would work best. It would make the background part of your design, not just background.
