I agree with all 5 of jnjc's propositions. Not everything boils down to opinion. We can make objective claims about web design. For example, your 56k comment was remarkably untrue. There is an unbelievable amount of evidence/reason to back that up as well. jnjc was merely correcting some things, and although he wasn't trying to engage in a debate with you, I'm sure the overwhelming majority of professional web designers would agree with every refutation that he posted.

There's good points there but the above is nonsense. Tables are for displaying tabular data. Nobody should be encouraged to use them for design layouts.

Also I would add to the lists that sites should validate to W3C standards.
