Hello!
Can anyone explain why Hqhost.net offer SSH on their shared hosting, but gives it by request? To be honest that is really inconveniently

Its a security thing. Any host that gives out ssh to every use automatically is asking for trouble. Thats not to say you cant enable it by other means, but it certainly will help cut back on bad users.

Hi there,
Like dbbrock1 says it's a security feature shell access is never safe on a shared environment, that said most hosts will allow jailed access as long as you provide justification for the it
