interesting idea. but it honestly took me a minute to figure out what the site was about, despite the fact that you say what it is in the header. lol

I suggest focusing on the area of the map you're concerned with instead and putting more details on the map, rather than showing the entire map of the world.

I agree, little point in showing the map of the world, if your site focuses only on the americas.
