images as links

Hi there,

I am having some difficulty with the website I am designing. I am designing it in CSS and I have some images that am using for links. The problem that I am having is that the images (.png) I am using as links are overlapping. Can anyone direct me to a site that might have a tutorial for this kind of thing? I am kind of new at this so, there is something that I am just not getting. If anyone could help me out, I would very much appreciate it.

maybe you should try the float property in css.

the 1st part is about table layouts then it goes into floats
