I'm terrible with colors!!!

Hey there folks. I'm going about putting together a forum for fellow internet marketers... http://www.marketerschat.com

...obviously there is no artistic talent

Hows the dark blue?... any comments fellas? thanks

The dark blue looks ok, not too keen on the purple color that you used though.

lighter or darker to replace the purple color...

maybe beige or so...

light tan perhaps or a light gold-brown, not too dark, and flat with no gradients or metallics.
