I want to transfer the ownership of a domain from one person to me.
But I've found this info in the Whois page for the domain name- Registrar: ENOM, INC. Whois Server: whois.enom.com Referral URL: http://www.enom.com Name Server: NS2.ACSDNS.NET Name Server: NS1.ACSDNS.NET Status: REGISTRAR-LOCK EPP Status: clientDeleteProhibited EPP Status: clientTransferProhibited Updated Date: 31-Oct-2006 Creation Date: 31-Oct-2006 Expiration Date: 31-Oct-2007 will I have problems tranferring ownership because it says- 'Registrar-Lock' and ' EPP Status: clientDeleteProhibited EPP Status: clientTransferProhibited' thanks |

the registered owner will need to contact the registar and have them remove the registrar-look and he/she will also have to initiate and confirm the transfer threw them. only the registered owner has the power to this.
at enom, all this should be automated via a online interface, but regardless, the registered owner will still need to initiate the transfer. |
