Default How to reproduce IE Issues - Need tools Suggestion

Hi Everyone,

I am kind of having really tough time fixing some issues on Internet Explorer. We are using IE6. Some of our users are complaining that they see sporadic issues on internet explorer, however I am not able to reproduce any of them. I am not sure how I can reproduce these issues on my machine.

Please let me know what kind of tools should I be using to debug Internet Explorer issues.

Please feel free to move this thread to right location just in case I have posted this in the wrong place. Thanks in advance.

if internet explorer crashes on you then you should disable add ons, reset the setting, scan for malware, and install the latest update
and if it is still having a problem then upgrade to a different web browser

Did you actually READ the first post??

Then again it could be a "Pavlovian Response" spam bot.

Look at IETester:

Or you could use compatibility mode with IE9 with the debugging console, it's pretty rubbish though as it doesn't emulate very well.

The only true way to know is by installing a virtual image of their environment, Microsoft provide a few of these you can use freely here:

Last option is a bit of a chore, but the only real way to replicate.

If you download Avant Browser Ultimate it has IE, Firefox and Chrome rendering engines built in and selectable.
